Pre-Test Questions and Sims

    Are the pre-test questions and sims generally more difficult than the rest of the test? Easy to spot?

    Generally speaking they're not easy to spot. Occassionally you'll get a question that is from so far out of left field that it has to be a Pre-Test question but usually you won't have a clue as to which ones are regular and which are Pre-Test.

    Consensus for FAR, AUD, and REG is that if you get two research questions that one of them is Pre-Test. But you won't know which is which. If you only have one research question sometimes you can pick a SIM that seems “different” (i.e. a FAR topic on the REG exam) but, again, they're not that easy to spot.

    Impossible to answer. Even if you think you've spotted a pretest question, you can never be sure. You just have to hope and pray the ones you did poorly on are pretest.
