Anyone else in the Chicago area get their appointment canceled by Prometric for 2/6-2/8? Anyone know anything about this? There explanation was just “unforeseen circumstances”

That's odd…maybe anticipating bad weather? Seems a bit far out to cancel.

I just spoke with them, and apparently they're predicting the weather to be bad enough to close, nearly two weeks in advance!! They must have pretty good weathermen there…

How does that work if you have a score expiring? My BEC credit will expire soon and I dont want to lose it because Prometrics pushed off my appointment. Surely my state board will make some concessions if that happens?

Yeah, my NTS expires 3/9, but fortunately I was able to find another day that worked with my schedule before then

Canceling 2 weeks out seems a bit much. The weather changes all the time. I am in IA and have my test scheduled for 2/2, I will not be a happy camper if I have to reschedule. We are leaving for Puerta Vallarta on the 9th and I really don't want to take it after that.

Canceling 10 days before a storm? LOL! Hope there isn't a storm on the day you rescheduled to!

That's one of the strangest things I have ever heard. I'm from Iowa, close enough to Chicago, and most the time they don't know the weather an hour from now how can they seriously cancel that far in advance.
