Props to Ninja notes and Wiley

I had several stops and starts when preparing for FAR.

I started out with CPAExcel until I realized I had 180 sections to go after several weeks of studying. I also noted that CPAExcel didn’t have MCQ’s testing on things I KNEW I would see on the exam.

I then moved to Wiley to begin taking notes. I soon realized that was futile.

In a moment of desperation, I turned to the Ninja notes to get a mental framework on FAR. I read the notes, copied them down, and then did only the Wiley MCQ’s two times each. I fully anticipated that this would NOT be enough to pass but somehow stuck the landing.

So that took me from a 50 to a 79.

So even though I had my disagreements with Jeff and I think I am still on the naughty list (you probably won’t be able to respond to this post), I have to give Jeff credit for some great notes and thank him for this site.

I just got a 74 on FAR and was debating getting the 10-point combo. Based on how many people it seems to have helped, I'm thinking that may be my best bet.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the NINJA note/Wiley.

Adding to the testimonial (oh and I see you can post to this–maybe I'm off the naughtly list! :D)…..I'm 42 years old with two kids, a wife, a business, a job (full time plus) and I have been out of Accounting for oh 13 years. So the combo of Ninja and Wiley must work because I didn't think I stood a chance on FAR.

    Best of luck.

Good to hear I'm off the naughty list……I'm normally pretty agreeable most days, I'll chock it up to exam stress. This site has a lot to do with my passing so, I definitely appreciate all you do Jeff.

    Have a safe trip.
