   hmm some interesting answers. i bet no one who answered this is any of the 3 though but it's just interesting to see the perception out there. They seem to look at years of schooling needed. Some people don't really understand that in business you never really go beyond a masters degree/MBA - maybe a PhD if teaching/researching at a university

   I think us CPA's sometimes get the shaft because people associate CPA with 'person who does your taxes'. (No offense at those who actually do individual tax). I believe it's just that a CPA does not inherently make you part of an elite group, whereas being a doctor, lawyer, or other highly educated professional does. Of course, I know some people I went to undergrad with who weren't all that bright or studious and only managed a lower tier med/law school, and I wouldn't associate them with anything particularly "high-class". Overall, I could care less. My mid-30's salary will easily eclipse that if I had become a doctor, and be in the league of some fairly successful lawyers, so who gives a ( )?

   The bloom is off the rose for lawyers. There's such an oversupply of attorneys in the market right now that many of them go year(s) without ever finding a job after graduating from law school. Others end up taking the same jobs that undergrads take straight out of college just so they don't starve. Don't ever let a lawyer think they are better than you.....they aren't. Only the top 1 to 5% of law school graduates from elite schools get those plum M&A corporate gigs, while the rest barely struggle to even find a mediocre job. I think going to law school is quite possibly one of the worst investments imaginable right now.

   Used Becker for all four parts. Supplemented it with Wiley Test Bank for FAR and REG (HIGHLY recommended) and NINJA notes.

   I agree with See Pee A. My dad didn't even realize everything a CPA can do until I sat down with him a few weeks ago and explained why it's taking me so long to pass these exams. He thought "oh a CPA does taxes". Then I showed him this site and he saw how many people were struggling just like me. Ever since then when he calls they are very short conversations just making sure we are ok and no one's sick. I actually feel a little guilty cause I'm an only child and my mom passed away 7 years ago. He only goes out once in a while with some friends and visits family who are out of town.

   AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!)
   REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011)
   FAR - 65, 68, 75 (Lost Credit) 68, 73, 73 - Rematch scheduled on May 29, 2012
   BEC - 65, 68, 71, 72, 72, 71, 76 (Lost Credit)- 70 (Are you kidding me?????) - July 17th, 2012 -> Rematch!!
