Any advice or practice questions are greatly appreciated! I know the basic questions like “why choose PWC over the other big 4”, “strengths and weaknesses”, etc. Are there any behavioral q’s i should be on the lookout for as well?

I'm in the same boat (diff. state)

Make sure to stand up while on your phone interview…it will help you project and sound more confident. Also, smile while you're talking…it will make you sound more positive and the interviewer can actually notice the difference (albeit probably subconsciously).

Relax. Take a few deep breaths beforehand and be yourself.

Hope this has been helpful 🙂

and use a bluetooth or headphones if possible. I always like to use my hands when talking and felt using a bluetooth freed my hands to gesture while I spoke. Also hv your resume in front of you.

As for questions…Why PwC, Why you, weakness/strengths, how you deal with conflict….

Good luck to both of you!!

Just had mine…it was pretty casual. It was more like “tell me about yourself”, “what do you think this position will be like and why are you interested in it”…nothing too out of the ordinary.

Overall the interviewer seemed pretty down to earth and easy to talk to. Went well 🙂

…now I just have to wait and see if/when they give me an offer…I'm not very patient so this is the worst part for me.

@dsavage208: hope yours went just as well or better 🙂

Phone interview usually leads to office interview 🙂 One guy I phone interviewed with later told me, if he's not bored during the phone interview he passes the person's name along LOL

I actually already had my office interview but, due to unforeseeable circumstances, had to have a phone interview with a partner once I was given the green light after the office interview

I gotta say guys it went pretty awful. The started out with a few simple questions. “Do you have 150 credits, any experience in auditing, why the location of the offices I chose.” After that it went downhill. 3 behavioral questions that I had not really thought about. So I'm pretty disappointed. Haven't heard from them yet, but I'm praying lol.

Do you remember what the questions were?
