Hi guys. I need your help. I am doing the Research sims on the Wiley Test Bank and I keep getting wrong answers for the last cell. I don’t really understand why the last cell sometimes uses a reference to a paragraph like “A8-A10” while I choose the number. Here is an example, “Gemco plans to engage specialists who have expertise in the taking of physical inventories to count its inventory quantities. Identify the section and paragraphs of the professional standards that describes how this affects the audit of inventories”.

I chose AU Section 501-11 but the answer shows A28-A30. I don’t get how it is A28-30. I know there is a reference to A27-30 but Wiley doesn’t seem to be consistent. On another sim I chose the paragraph reference (to see if I’ll get it right this time) but the correct answer shows a number like 09. I’m just so confused.

I think those questions are better written on the actual test than they are in WTB.

All of the research SIMs I've come across in the new WTB have been wrong. Blatantly wrong, so you're probably confused, because you have the right answer and the test bank is wrong.

I've been finding a lot of errors with Wiley and not just within the SIMS, but in a lot of multiple choice questions. I'll select the right answer then it shows up as wrong. While reading the description it'll show the final answer as the one I originally selected.

Also, a lot of the Yes, Yes / No, No / Yes, No / No, Yes answer type questions are mostly always wrong on the MCQ.

Anyone else having this issue?

There was one question in particular where I calculated the answer as $7,000 but there wasn't an option, so I selected something close to it. They said I was wrong, that the answer was $7,000, and then did the math to prove it, but once again there wasn't even an option for it.
