I figured who would know best than those that have failed… If you could do over the 2 weeks prior to your exam what would you have done differently? I am two weeks out and want to make sure I nail this exam! I am not asking you to say I would have studied X,Y and Z harder more just in general what do you wish you did more of? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

MCQs like crazy!! Reread NINJA notes whenever you have a spare moment. Make every and all down times study times.

Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
    AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    FAR - 65, 68, 75 (Lost Credit) 68, 73, 73, 80 (Passed again in May 2012) Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
    BEC - 65, 68, 71, 72, 72, 71, 76 (Lost Credit)- 70, 76!!!! I AM DONE!!! - Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
After 10 long years of studying, I AM DONE!!!! Finally a Licensed CPA in the State of New York!!

What I would do is take a 100-150 question progress test. Use that to see where you are performing poorly and ask yourself what do you seriously think you don't have a good amount of knowledge on. You have to be really honest with yourself. With that information, choose about 5 topic and hit them hard, one each of the next 5 days. Watch some lectures, do lots of MCQ's, and rinse repeat until you are dreaming of the J/E's. I would then take the rest of the time to kill MCQ's until you can't do it anymore….then do some more. Also things like getting up a half hour early to run through some flash cards, or taking some time to study at lunch is really important. This is so mental, so you have to convince yourself that you want to learn this more indepthly and that you want to do more MCQ's. I'm studying FAR for the second time now and after so many hours of studying, I feel like I should know everything backwards and forwards so it's hard to convince myself to continue as intensely. I think if you put in the hours, you will be rewarded.

    FAR - 67, 85
    AUD - 50, 68, 79 I'm DONE!
    BEC - 81
    REG - 78

    First Expiration = 8/31/2013

Re-read and repeat… I don't want to get hammered over the following comment but: REG is not hard… It is just detailed…

If you repeat it (like a song you like) you will learn it. The first time I took it; I went through the material once and came out with a 70… and I know if I had reviewed everything twice. I would have passed.

    Study, re-read, repeat and review….

    Good luck!

    B - 62, 70, 72, 79!!!
    A - 68, 81
    R - 70, 82
    F - 84

A thorough review is always key. Test yourself using simulated exams. Re-read your notes. Brush up on any topic you don't feel 100% about.

    B - 79 PASSED (1/4 there!)
    A - 77 PASSED (1/2 there!)
    F - 79 PASSED (3/4 there!)
    R - 83 PASSED (DONE!!!!!!)

Its so discouraging when you start doing questions after watching 50 hours of lectures and taking notes and feel like your getting everything wrong. blah. Suppose repitition is key?!
