I’ve received the CBA’s “Acknowledgement of application” about 1 week after sending in my application (that was last Friday). Just today, the $250.00 check for the application fee cleared my bank account.

Does this signal that my application has been accepted and licensing is under way, or do they deposit the application fee regardless of whether or not they have completed the review of your application?

It's the second one you said. It takes them a lot more than a week to complete the review.

I've heard of people getting licensed in 4-6 weeks but never sooner than that.

I sent in my application on Feb. 26 and got licensed May 15. But mine got held up because of that stupid live scan fingerprint thing. It never works for me, but I still had to have two failed attempts at it before they'd do the background check using my name.

It's hard to wait for the license, after going through so much to pass the exams, but you'll get it. 🙂

Please keep me posted on your licensing progress. I just submitted mine last week and want to know how long it took you. btw, do you know if i have to resubmit my transcript if i submitted it when i sat for the exam?
