for one of the simulations i got, there were journal entries and about 7 boxes to fill…so what i did was

DEBIT1

DEBIT2

CREDIT1

LEFT BLANK

CREDIT2

i left it blank in the middle because i couldnt figure out a way to delete/remove an entry, so instead i just put in “CREDIT2” entry filled in. pretty sure the answer is correct for the entire question, but would i be penalized for that or marked wrong?

If it was an extra line, I don't think it will cause any penalty for you having the blank in the middle of the journal entry instead of the end. I'm assuming that your “LEFT BLANK” line had neither account name nor amount, right? If that assumption is correct, then I haven't seen anything indicating that you'd be penalized for it.

yep, i had nothing in that “LEFT BLANK” area..it still worries be though

does anyone know if there is a way to remove an entry? that part wasnt intuitive at all, and i left a comment at the end of the exam stating that :

I think I removed one…but I can't remember how. As soon as I got my passing score, I blocked the whole experience from memory. 😛
