    NINJA Question –

After a failed attempt at passing the CPA, I recently got re-motivated to try again so I purchased the 10-Point Combo and am ready to begin studying. However, I watched Jeff’s video of his study method and was hoping anyone who had experience using it could answer a quick question.

In it, he says that the best method is to read a section’s book front to back, taking notes while you do, before doing any of the MCQ. He goes on to say the reason for this is that by the time you get to the end of the book, you will just have to do the MCQ’s again and probably won’t remember anything from weeks before.

My question is, doesn’t this go the same for the material you read in the book? From personal experience, if I haven’t touched a chapter for a few weeks, the odds of me remembering anything in detail are slim. Don’t you have to almost re-read the chapter anyway to be able to make a decent attempt at the MCQs?

    Thanks in advance.
