   Hello,

   I haven't received my exam result for my 3rd section, but assuming I pass I want to take the FAR section for Wave 1 in Q4. What is the latest date I can take the exam to get a wave 1 release?

   Also, this would be my final section. Is it possible to take the exam, get a wave 1 Q4 release, and still be able to re-take the exam for end of Q4 before the test changes if I don't pass the first time?

   Just trying to plan things out, I don't think I will be properly prepared taking it at the end of Q3 given my current pace. Trying to give myself two solid chance at passing the final section.

   Generally, if you take the exam by the 5th of the 2nd testing month, you should be in Wave 1. Unless you receive a new simulation; then, you are automatically in Wave 2. Also, it is not possible to take the same exam in the same testing quarter - even if you didn't pass. You will have to wait until Q1 testing in 2011.

   cowgirl, I do not think that that is correct- if he/she doesn't pass in this testing window, he/she can take the SAME test in the next window.....the restriction is that he wouldn't be able to take the same test again in the same testing WINDOW.

   In order to have two solid chances before the year is up, you will have to take an exam in Q3 and IF you fail then you can retake in Q4. However, you cannot take the same exam twice in Q4.

   The only way to take the exam twice this year is once in Q3 and once in Q4 (as Q1 and Q2 testing windows are closed).
