    NINJA Question –

    I been using the MCQ and I watched Jeffs video where he says i Need to trend a 85 but I have some questions.

    When he means trend, does that mean each section in the MCQ have an 85% or better? For example I just started studying again after accepting the fact i failed again… and I got a 76% on business ethics section.

    Should i keep doing business ethics until I get to an 85%? I am still in the first phase of the MCQ btw.

    One of my weak areas i noticed was Common Law Duties and Liability to client, and Federal Statutory Liability. Is there a way to just practice questions on those?

    BEC: Need to pass, lost creedit.

    FAR: 74, FML. Next exam 06/14/23
    REG: 75 lost credit could not pass far 🙁

    The trending score will eventually go up to 100% if you complete all questions correctly.

    You can choose a section my selecting the custom+sims button. Then you can select specific areas of the outline to study and choose new questions, troubled questions, or all questions.

    Good luck!

    @vern

    So lets say I reset everything, and do questions on 1 topic. Should my score be a 85 before I am good on that section?

    Would it be better to lets say master ethics than go onto federal taxes? or just hop around? This test bank is more informative than becker (which i used to use), and IMO a lot better.

    ^go to custom and select categories where you are weak – the custom setting allows you to get down to very specific topics.Just make sure to expand the categories when you are setting up a custom MCQ session.

    I would NOT reset.

    Don't reset. Do enough MCQ's to understand the concepts in that section. If its not sticking then move on to something that does and then come back to the tough areas. identify your strong areas and weak areas. Then make a detailed plan to get through all of the sections. Spend the necessary time doing MCQ's. If you miss one, print it out and review the concepts carefully. Understanding why and how you missed the question will help you avoid missing it in the future.

    I would suggest doing short 10 question MCQ sessions. Once you understand the concepts in those questions, do another 10 questions. Take small breaks between sessions. Eventually move up to 20 question sessions and then 30 questions. Spend time breaking down the problems and understanding what they are asking of you.

    I would recommend putting in about 200 hours each for REG and FAR.
