Quick Pension Question

    Hey, so quick question on pensions. More specifically the G in AGE. Say we have a difference in expected vs actual gains in the current year. Would that amortization of that difference begin this year or next year? Thanks!

    usually the year after, remember to amortize net of tax and also use the corridor approach

    Its been a while with FAR. Also did not use Becker. The amortization should begin next year, since the difference can only be calculated at the end of the previous year. Just a thought. Wait to see what others have to say.
