( I thought it would be cool for everyone to put the position/goal they hope to reach at some point in their career )

My undergrad income tax teacher was Korean with a thick accent. I could hardly understand him. To me, tax is already a different language in itself…which means I was trying to learn a different language in a different language. Frustrating!

Fortunately, R1 was not that difficult. I know as information begins to pile up, it will get much harder. I am wondering how the rest of the sections in REG compare to the first so I can gauge just how difficult the next 6 weeks are about to be.

Can anyone shed some light on the subject? Thank you in advance SHOT CALLERS!

Reg was my first exam so I can't really remember what I had trouble with but I will say this. I hated tax in college, I just did not understand it at all. However, when it came to Becker I found regulation to be fairly easy. The business law part has always seemed mostly common sense to me so that section was really easy. I do have to say that I had worked one tax season before my exam so that gave me an edge. I don't know if this will help but I see you passed BEC, I found BEC much tougher than Reg. But it all depends on the person. Good luck!

I was hoping someone would verify that. I had read that most people find REG easier than BEC so that does ease my mind…but not much. lol
