It is a good book. At one accounting firm I worked at they strongly suggested that we read that book, which like you said, is a quick read..and helpful.
Will download it on my new Kindle Fire tomorrow! Thanks!
This book is $0.99 on Amazon Kindle for the next 7 hours!
why can't i find the book title anywhere?
The title is "eat that frog" . Jeff's link should take you straight to The Amazon site.
@Kasia - haven't been online in a while. Noticed your scores! CONGRATS! I'm so jealous of you people who passed all parts on the first attempt. You're a rockstar.
@Veronica, I've missed you! Thanks, I'm very happy and proud that I'm done. Hopefully come Feb, you'll be joining the ranks too. The support I had here from you and many others definitely helped me get through, especially, when things got really rough in my personal life.
I hope to be joining you in February, for sure! Then it will be time to tackle all the things I've been wanting to do since I started this thing two years ago. Craziness! :) Take care.
@ Veronica- how do you do it? I've took BEC 3X before passing, I lost credit for AUD but passed again, and I'm sitting for FAR on the 26th and if I don't pass I lose REG... I feel like I'm losing motivation and wonder if it's worth it....I need a life- I really don't have one- other than studying I do nothing else in my spare time. I'm 3/4 done and need some motivation- I'll get the book Jeff mentioned.
Good luck to you!
My grammar was terrible in my last post...I should have proofed before posting. Sorry.
@Sherrid - this has been the most difficult thing I've ever attempted in my life. I always passed college exams with ease. This is a different animal. Add all the other stresses of life that didn't exist when you were a fulltime college student....
The last time I took BEC, I decided that if I didn't pass, I wasn't going to continue. (I went into it knowing I was going to lose my Audit credit.) I was already dealing with the thoughts of how I would handle giving up and if I would regret it down the road. I knew I would, so I busted my you know what and did my best on BEC and finally passed with an 81. I had to go to a final review course in Dallas by Becker to finally pass the exam. You need to supplement or change your study method for BEC. Something just isn't clicking. I know how that feels, trust me.
Don't give up unless you are 100% sure you'll have no regrets. I don't love accounting. I may even make a career change down the road. I just decided this exam was not going to get the best of me.
Good luck to you, too!!!
ugh, i missed the 99 cent special for my new kindle..... :(:(:(
