Ok, there are some MCQs that I just cannot understand (mainly in Wiley). I’ve studied, I’ve done a ton of them (probably 500 at least Becker, Wiley, Gleim, and I’m only on B1). Out of the 500 or so I’ve done there are probably 5% that I just don’t understand why the answer is what it is. It’s just too complicated. I know I sound whiny, but is this normal or should I be understanding and mastering every single MCQ I do? Is it realistic to deal with a 5% failure to understand, or is that just setting me up to fail on test day? Thanks for the advice, again 🙂

I would definitely move on to B2. You are not likely going to understand 100% of the material your first time through. It sounds like you have already spent a crazy about of time on B1. So I suggest you move on the B2 and keep plugging away through the material. Its good to get through all of the material at least once so you have a good understanding of the big picture. This is more useful in the other sections since there is more cohesiveness with the other topics (BEC is sort of a melting pot of everything left over) but it will still help with BEC. After you've gone through the material once, this is when you go back and hit the topics hard that you are not completely comfortable with. It takes time and repetition. It will do you some good to let it go for a while and then come back later and think about it with a fresh mind (as it relates to that topic).

Thanks for the help. I tend to go overboard on stuff! I just graduated in December and I carried 21 credit hours and had my head stuck in a book 12 hours a day. I'm getting this way with this stuff, because I just have no idea what to expect. I think you're right though…on to the next topic. Thanks!

Is B1 COSO? I had only 23 practice questions on this topic and still did fine 😛

But I read and understood well the chapter in the book (Wiley).
