Really Need Advice

This is going to be a long post, but I am in desperate need of advice as I am in full-blown panic mode.

I have passed AUD and BEC. I passed BEC in May of this year. Since then, I have totally lost motivation to study. Part of it was work-related but a lot of it had to do with the fact that I decided to no longer use Roger and moved onto Gleim. I liked the idea of Gleim over preparing you for the exam. I decided only to purchase the test bank and book. I tried that for awhile and it did not work out for me. The issue I was having was that I felt like I could not retain anything from the outlines I was reading. The format of the outlines and the amount of detail was insane. That is when I decided to buy the NINJA book and questions for REG. I felt it was much easier to read the book, but (I’m sorry as this will be an unpopular opinion) I did not like the questions and the way they were set up. However, I went with this method at the last minute for REG and did not pass.

After that exam, I was persuaded by a sales rep from Gleim that I had been in touch with over recent months to upgrade to Gleim Online. I did that and thought that I would have better luck utilizing their full program and would hopefully retain more. So far I do not feel like I am doing that. The outlines still bog me down and I am scoring poorly on their questions (between 50-75). I know that lower scores are to be expected on the first time through, but the amount of time it takes me to get through one study unit is insane. So much so that I am worried about being able to get through the rest of the material before my exam on 10/26. Moving the exam is not really an option at this point because I am starting to run out of time before my AUD score expires in June of next year. I need to get these exams done before I get really busy at work again in January.

I recently was able to get it set up where I basically have the entire work day to study. I am really freaking out that I am just going through the motions with Gleim and not really retaining anything. My question is this: is reading the NINJA book/notes and then moving over to Gleim to do problems/sims sound like a good idea? I want to try to do this to see if I retain the material more. Right now, I feel like I have to look up info in the outlines way too much while I am doing problems/sims. I am thinking that by reading NINJA material I may retain more and not have to look up as much while I am doing the Gleim problems/sims

    Thanks for the help!
