Received 74 on BEC, should I request score review?

I received 74 on BEC, is requesting a score review worth it? Anyone ever had any luck with a score review?

I know that the answers to the multiple choice questions are pretty cut and dried. I would like the written communications section reviewed. According to the candidate performance report I was “Comparable” in the written communication section.

Based on my research a review would be $150.00 and be completed six weeks after the closing of the score review orders which is October 25th.

Or do I just forget it and hit the books to re-test in October?

This whole process is sooooo frustrating!!! Thanks for your thoughts

    REG 49,72,74,82
    AUD 73,83
    BEC 74,76
    FAR 80
After nine tests I am finally DONE

I would just study again. I've read where others have asked that question and people said there hasn't been anyone who has gotten a passing score on a score review. In my opinion it is just wasting money with your odds being so low. Just think about how close you were and know that you can pass this next time. Good luck.

Hit the books and re-test. I've heard score reviews aren't worth it. They never go your way. This coming from a guy who received a 74 which caused a lost credit, when a 75 would have licensed me.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.

I'm pretty sure that in your case someone must have looked at your WC section prior to giving you a 74. So no need to waste your $ & time on review. Better to retake.

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14

Not yet, all that just happened in Q3 this summer 🙁 I'm still feeling the sting of it … retaking FAR in October … REG in November. Goal is to be done in 2013.
