Hello Everyone,

I went through the interview process with the Big 4 and made it to the last round where I was interviewed by 3 individuals.

Today, i.e., a week later after my interview, I received a phone call from someone at the Big 4 saying that I am not going to be extended an offer.

A lot of my friends who went through the interview process with the Big 4 said that they never received a rejection call but rather an email. Is a rejection call normal in a big 4 interview process?

Depends on the firm, the recruiter, etc. I'd say its pretty common.

@CPANOVICE- that is most likely why they called you. Because you showed that you wanted the job and followed up. They wanted to tell you on the phone isntead of some crapp e-mail.

I had two of the big four totally snub me after doing second round interviews at their offices. I followed up with them after a while, and then got a crappy e-mail. It was pretty clear to me that they did not have any intention of even letting me know their decision. I was very unimpressed. This was in my search for internships a while back. When it came time for full time interviews, I did not apply to the big 4.
