3 down 1 to go!
I'm a DE writer and my mark still isn't posted. I wrote in May and I don't have any typos in my info... my DOB is entered in the correct format. Any ideas. I check OASIS and it says that the status of my application is that they sent the NTS to me. It appears as though I never even wrote the exam - according to their system.... is this possible?
I am in Kansas City MO and finally passed REG! It was my last section I am finally done!! good luck to everyone who is still taking parts!!! Trust me, the feeling of passing feels so good that it more than justifies all the work and sacrifices made.
BEC- 84; AUD- 71, 82; FAR- 64, 75; REG- 71, 74, 72, 83!!!!!!!!!!!! (finally done!!!!)
The cocktails have never tasted soo good!!!
I PASSED!!!!!!
Louisiana finally posted the grades!!!
Finally was able to see my score. NY - REG - 80. 2 down 2 more to go. Man I feel so good. Worth the wait. Good luck to everybody else waiting for their scores.
AiCPA Tea Party - Congrats! NIcely done! Kick the last one in the _ _ _
Just found out I got a 74 on REG.
This past week I was visiting with my manager to figure out when I'll be taking vacation this summer and some possible places I could go and some things I could do. This kind of settles the "things I could do" part :).
Congratulations to everyone who passed!
I passed with a 75! I can't believe I did! I guess I'm taking my boss's advice--"you're studying too hard if you make anything over a 75." :)
Way to go Megan, Half way there, the end is in sight.
CJohn, put the 74 behind you. You will pass on your next try. Vacations are overrated. Your CPA is for Life.....
Finally got my score this morning for REG after over 2 months of waiting....I passed with an 82! Thank you Jeff for creating Another71. It makes me feel so much better knowing that there are other people out there having the same issues I am (i.e. waiting FOREVER for a score....). 3 down, 1 to go! Good luck everyone!!!!!
Wooooot REG is done with 81 yay just AUD left good luck!!! & thanks Jeff.
I'm Done, Passed Reg with a 78
Finally received my score in Michigan --- 76. Took me two years of studying to finally knock off these exams once and for all. This is a brilliant website.
As a sidenote, the CPA experience has transfigured me into a better, more well-disciplined individual. It also taught me the value of not giving up on anything! Just three months ago I was planning on abandoning the test as my frustrations mounted. To all of you like me who had to re-take sections of the exam, my words of wisdom to you are to never give up! Your day will come!
I passed with an 86! Wahoo! Now time to hit Auditing, which I take on July 7th. This is my last exam...I can't believe I can finally say that.
Anna ~ Hang in there! You can do it! You are so, so close and we all believe in you.
For those who passed...CONGRATULATIONS!
For those who need a little extra push...you CAN do this! Reevaluate your situation and circumstances and see what you can do to improve. This exam CAN be passed...Keep your heads up and never give up...Perseverance!!! (sp?)
I called NASBA this morning and the agent told me that according to their system, I never sat for the exam!? I told the agent that I had a confirmation letter from Prometric that I wrote on May 28th, 2010. She told me to email customer service and call some number and leave a message. They say they will get back to me within 5 business days...
So I called Prometric. I asked if they could confirm my attendance. After the agent had to look through "a couple of their systems" they finally found my name. When I called the actual test center he said that I wasn't in the log book?!! I am certain I signed that page in the little binder they have. After futher searching they found my confirmation. I then asked, "can you confirm that my exam is in your system or was sent to NASBA/AICPA?" The response after 10 minutes of hold was, "we will get back to you in 48 hours." Sounds like Prometric screwed up.
Anybody have an experience similar to this? Please don't tell me I have to re-write.
Coincidently, my girlfriend wrote the exam (CPA reciprocity - she's a Canadian CA) a couple years ago and they actually gave her the wrong version of the exam and they forced her to re-write instead of mark the one they had. **Frustrated.
Good Luck ktip!!! Keep us posted!
Ktip...very sorry for what is happening to you!
Congratulations to all who passed this window, especially Mpofu!
and who didn't - see you next window;)
Ktip. Wow, that really really sucks!
Good luck ktip! That is completely NUTS what is happening. I will be praying for you.
Ktip: Sorry to hear you situation. Make sure to fight forcefully. Its prometric's fault. Keep us posted.
Update: I still don't have my results.
I get an email from NASBA saying that I should not worry because they have my exam and it has been marked. I was told that the results would be posted over the weekend. It was never posted. I call back and the agent tells me that I'm in wave 2. I tried to explain but she didn't really understand the problem.
I simply called back and got a better agent. He told me he could see my result but it was not on their regular "system" which is why it's not being posted on the net. I then talked to my state representative and "customer care" and both did not know how to transfer the results to their system so they could be posted. Both need to "contact another department" and will get back to me within 24 hours.
I'm not an IT guy but it would seem simple enough problem to resolve. Ah well.... the wait continues.
Thanks everybody for the kind comments.
ktip,
I'd be tempted to beg for my score...
Keep up the strength!
Update: Happy Ending.
After making more calls later this afternoon, I was finally able to speak to somebody who would give me my score over the phone. She told me I got an 87 (after two 73's on REG) which means I'm finally done! I walked around the office to get some high fives, went out for a nice dinner with my gf (also my manager at work - trouble, I know), vegas is booked and I'm on my fourth beer.
Good luck to all. This is a great website... it should be required that every CPA student know about this site.
Does the loophole work if u live in a non NASBA state?
Still waiting here in NC from May the 8th - 'going to be tough to enjoy the Holiday Weekend.
Hi ktip,
Congrats! on your results. I noticed that your gf is a Canadian CA and has done her CPA as well. Was wondering if you would be able to help me. I am a Canadian CA and recently moved to US, am appearing for IQEX this september, would you be able to tell me which study material she used to prepare for the exam.
Thanks for your help.
Sonali
