Ok, guys. I think we have officially passed the point of this being ridiculous, and entered into absurdity (I think that might be a word). WTH are our scores AICPA????????

Astute girl - I forget... are you waiting for REG as your last? I know I was reading something from you last night but can't remember.
This is crazy huh? I keep forgetting that if it's not out now, we probably won't get results till next week IIIFFFFF we are not pushed to the second window!!! haha.
Any of you guys waiting in MA? I wish we weren't NASBA!
Great Job, glogo. You may have missed your calling.
BEC 77
FAR 36/84
AUD 68/86
REG 55/waiting and waiting and waiting . . . .
That is funny...I am constantly wishing my state was NASBA...it is way better than snail mail trust me! :)
murphy - yes, REG is my last. I need to get my score, either way, asap so I can either finally be done and celebrate, or reschedule since I lose credit for FAR on 4/17/10. The process in CA from application to NTS can take up to a month sometimes, so my biggest fear at this point is being pushed into Wave 2 and not being able to schedule the retake before April 17. Luckily, since I am in CA, as long as scores get released today or (ugh!) tomorrow, I should have my score before the weekend. I am going insane with this waiting and am SO not productive at work today. I am an Audit Senior and setting a very bad example for my staff. =)
The forum's been a savior and many thanks to Jeff for providing it. So I took my first test (REG) 2/9 - is it safe to say that I'm automatically Wave 2? Seems to be some noise of test takers sitting 2/8 and being included in Wave 1. I feel everyone's frustration with respect to these results .... were absolutely powerless and NASBA's lack of communication is criminal.
I wouldn't automatically assume Wave 2...the cutoff was later this time around, maybe because of the storms on the East Coast. I have a coworker that took FAR on 2/8 and he received his scores yesterday.
Ha! Ya right if they see you not working they'll probably think that's what it's like as a senior so they'll work even harder to get there.
That's crazy about the whole passing/expiration thing. I hadn't thought of that problem. I took my first two tests in this window (1/4 and 2/5) so I haven't gotten to that point (taking my fourth) yet!!!!!
glogo...I just sat down from giving you a standing ovation!
Is this really happening? I'm beginning to think AICPA actually enjoys making us suffer. They probably read this forum and giggle to themselves. It HAS to be today/tonight people....
murphyqu03 - I'm from MA too.
glogo - Excellent work on the Journey rendition!
Jeff, can you please get us some info from your contact at the AICPA???
Nice ShowMeTheMoney. I keep trying to get myself away from this site but I can't.....
I say if it comes out tonight from AICPA, us NASBA'ers should just plan on a Monday release. That way if we don't get it tomorrow we won't be freaking out. Let's just not even mention it!
Glogo - thanks for the Journey song!
I'm still trying to figure out what could possibly be taking so long...
6148 reg were released
Update #10: Today, 219 AUD, 1183 FAR & 6148 REG scores released by the AICPA
let the F5 process begin. =)
Glogo,
How many more exams to do you have? I could use the entertainment because I have a feeling that I'll be waiting on AUD, BEC, and FAR just the same.
Everyone else,
Is ...................YES HERE THEY COME 6148 of EM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
haha yea I hear you. I've been following this message board thread for the past week and a half hoping for some news. The same thing happened the last time I took REG...there were predictions that it was going to come out over a weekend, but it never happened.
This time around I decided not to check my score on the NASBA site until it's reported here since every time I click the button I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack.
FINALLLYYYY! I can't believe they are still releasing AUD and FAR scores though! Hopefully all the REG comes at once!
I wonder when we'll get NASBA...
Jeff, does this mean NASBA scores will be released tomorrow? Or do they come out the same day?
Does anyone happen to know when an exam pass rate is high for a previous quarter, do they increase the difficulty of the exam for the following testing window? For example, REG had the highest pass rate out of the four exams in Q4 2009; therefore, will the test difficulty be increased for Q1 2010?
rsanchez, I think the pass rate just fluctuates because during the audit busy season, people have less time to study for the exam, thus they don't pass as much.
Q4 is probably highest since people aren't as busy at work w/ so many holidays and busy season not being in full swing yet.
And it begins...
glogo2384 - Are we getting another song?
Only if I passed...
any chance CA release will be today?
NASBA release tomorrow at the earliest...but tomorrow night is a very strong possibility. FAR had a 24 hour turnaround.
any idea about CA Jeff?
Its been an exciting experience to be a part of this forum, and i am encouraged by those that have passed all four parts and are still contributing and encouragign us to go on.
CA by morning is likely...(don't stay up all night though like someone recently did...)
Thanks Jeff!
I will be shocked if they are able to do another 24 hour turnaround. We should make some bets on this.
From my experience, CA usually posts really early morning. The only time I have seen CA post in the afternoon was during Q3 2009 Wave 2 when there were all those technical difficulties and BEC was posted at the same time as REG.
glogo,
I'm pulling for you (and everyone else).
I just called my state board (Nevada) and they told me they have the scores and will be released @ 2am tomorrow.
P.S. how bad is it that the lady and answered the phone knew me by name and said that she thought about me when she saw the REG scores come through....LOL.
Jeff- honestly thanks a ton. This site is RIDICULOUS.
Mpofu - tell me about it. I'm glad I found this site. Even though I now check THIS a million times a day, at least I stopped checking NASBA a million times a day...
Does anyone have an idea on how quickly they turn around scores in IL?
If anyone calls NY state board and hears about a release time please post! I'm trying not to call them (superstitious lol)
I am wondering whether or not to call the CA BOA to see if they even have my scores. I have never called them before, but it would be nice to know ahead of time if I am in Wave 2. From what I have read in the past on this board, the people at CA BOA are not usually very helpful.
Good luck, everyone. This is my last one and I am so hoping that by Saturday I will be celebrating having all the studying behind me!!
If anyone out there is waiting for REG scores in WA state (which just converted to NASBA state this year), I received my FAR score probably about 18-20 hours after the AICPA release. WA state sends an email (if you have email listed as your preferred method of contact) BEFORE they even post it online. Based on the messages I saw on here, I was one of the first to receive my FAR score. Go WA state! Hopefully they will be the same for REG!
Anyone know if WI is quick to post scores after the AICPA release?
Less than ideal news...the CA BOA said they have some of the scores from the AICPA, but they don't have mine. I think there is still a chance that they are receiving scores from the AICPA, since the release order is random, so I am holding out hope.
hopefloats I am from WA state and received my FAR score yesterday around 10 am via email as well.
For Illinois, it's usually within 24 hours...
Astutegirl,
I'm hopeing that you get your score so you can get that clients work done :) P.S. I'm sure they are going to think your insane (based off your comment yesterday) from your reaction when you get that passing score.
Thank you Walt. Hopefully I am at home when I get my scores so I can be crazy in private. =)
Im PANICKING AGHHH!!! :P
Puerto Rico, same here. I just have this bad feeling that I'll begin re-studying for this thing starting on Monday...sure hope I'm wrong!
Good luck everyone.
Just woke from sleep. Everyone, please does it mean the end to the AICPA waiting game? It woule be nice to pass it all the same.
It is the end of the AICPA waiting game and the beginning of the NASBA/State Board waiting game. Come'on Texas board.
