I found out that I failed reg yesterday with a 73 on my frist try. I scored strong on the MCQs and weak on the stimilatuon. Is 40 days enough for the retake? I am planning to study 2 hours per weekday and 5-6 hours on the weekend. I am currently using Becker and Ninja MCQ as studying materials. I apprecaite any advices so I can pass this exam on the 2Q.

    Thanks,

I would love to know this too! I can't decide if I should use my max time allowed (May 30th is last day before I lose AUD) or take it sooner. I almost feel like dragging it out might make me lose focus. I will not be taking it before April 15th but was thinking Mid may instead of late May .

    FAR - 82
    AUD - 79 (lost credit), 75
    BEC - 76
    REG - 91

I am on the exact same boat as you and possibly use the same approach: 2-3 hours on weekdays and 6+ on weekends. I scheduled my test on 4/14, which gives me around 34 days/shy of 5 weeks to study. I am reading over the Becker book and start attacking the MCQs hopefully starting this weekend. Just bought Ninja MCQ as a supplement to bump the 2 points that I missed. I don't want to drag it out too long because I am already burnt out. Giving myself a decent timeframe would push me a little more. Please share with us after what you decided to do!

In the same-ish boat. Re-take, last exam, etc etc. I think it depends on how comfortable you are with the material…honestly, I think 40 days is fine as long as you have “quality” study time. Good luck to everyone!

Yeah that is why I am thinking that making it go to end of May might be a mistake. I am starting my re-study tonight and since it is all new materials I honestly don't know how fast I will be able to get through it. I don't want to skim stuff so it might take me a while with busy season, but if I schedule my exam for May 30th and I get through everything and feel very comfortable well before that I might change my scheduled date and take it earlier. My plan is to study 2-3 hours a night and then at least 4-5 Saturday/Sundays. After April 15th I am going to ask to move to part time so I can study during the day while everyone is at daycare/work and so when they get home I don't have to retreat to the “study room”

I was in the exact same position as you guys…Failed 1st time on REG with a score of 73 and was strong on MCQ but weak in SIMS. I ended up passing on the 2nd attempt with a score of 83 on the last day of the testing window. What I did different was supplement my material with NINJA MCQ and reread Wiley all over again to make sure I did not forget all of the tidbits material. My study hour was weeknights 1-2hrs and 2-3hrs on the weekend. I bought myself some time by scheduling for the last day of the testing window to make sure the material sinks in. My study hours estimate did not include time spent listening to NINJA Audio at work on one ear.

    BEC - 12/13
    FAR - 5/14
    AUD - 8/14
    REG - 2/15
Passed 6 of 6 CLEP Exam

I failed with a 72 first try on 2/28/15. For me personally – i am going to re-do all my HW and SIMs. I am going to skim through the books on topics that i dont understand on the homework but i will not be re-reading the book over. I feel like doing the problems will help me understand better. I am using Becker and Ninja MCQ's. I bought Ninja MCQ's and NINJA REG notes last minute before my test so didnt really get to read or practice them. Good luck to everyone retaking. The SIMS killed me on the test, so definitely going to be taking advantage of all the SIMS in NINJA>

    BEC - 76 (1/24/15)
    REG - 82 (4/13/15)
    AUD - 89 (5/31/15)
    FAR - 78 (8/16/15)

Starting right now I'll be strong
    I'll play my fight song
And I don't really care if nobody else believes
'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me

I want to retake Reg in early April because I want to be in the first next score release. I feel that if I study too long, i might procrastinate, lose focus, and feel burn out. Plus, stimulation is really hard to be 100% prepared since they could be literally any topics. I will make up my mind once i receive my new NTS.

BTW, anyone is using the Ninja Reg book? If yes, do you think it is a good supplemental materials?
