@NYC that's interesting that you found individual tax harder than corporate tax. I actually hated corp tax in college, but I have a little bit of hope that, now that I'm older and wiser, it will seem easier šŸ˜›

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! šŸ˜€

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently šŸ™‚

Yes, I like corporate, partnership more than Individual taxation. @Amay I remember taking one individual taxation class in college, probably like 2007, and on top of that I've never done taxes before, so you should be fine for REG. I remember someone on this site saying you needed tax experience to pass REG – truth is you don't!

    Good luck with your exam!!

@NYC–So glad to hear that since I've never even done my own taxes. I hate all the ins and outs of it. Do you remember as much of REG as you do of FAR this long after taking it? I swear I lose knowledge for every test the minute I walk out of Prometric.

CPA Exam - Finally DONE (November 2014)
    BEC (08/10/13) 80
    AUD (08/24/13) 65 (11/13/13) 85
    FAR (04/12/14) 81
    REG (07/19/14) 69 (11/29/14) 87!!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one taking a while with corp. tax. I just want to get all of this tax stuff out of the way and get to B-Law! I took B-Law 1 and 2 in college, so I know the information is buried somewhere deep in my brain. Plus I actually kind of like it… maybe I should have gone to law school instead šŸ™‚

Just spent the last 5 days clicking submit for an online score, now its time to study for this beast again. I have only used Becker and it has been solid for me. Was thinking of also using the Ninja study material since I have seen it mentioned alot on here. Anyone use Becker and Ninja? Is that overkill?

My exam is scheduled for Aug 31. In between studying for Reg, I need to plan my FAR retake. Have you guys managed studying for two exams at once?

    AUD - Passed
    BEC - Passed
FAR - Failed, retake in July
REG - first try in Aug

Yes it is possible – I have seen people take FAR first week of the window then take REG Aug 31st.

You must make sure you study everyday and study smart. Put in the time and you can pass them both.

Thanks brainfarts. I'm definitely going to make a run for it. My plan is to attack FAR topics that was weak on last time and do mcq until I'm crazy. Maybe I can take that in July. Then go nuts on REG for the last day in Aug.

    AUD - Passed
    BEC - Passed
FAR - Failed, retake in July
REG - first try in Aug

@Mamabear to some degree, I remember a great detail of info from all the sections I've taken.

You seem to have a great study strategy, so I'm expecting you to do fine.
