I’ve been trying (key word) to go through the REG material in CPAexcel. The material in the other 3 sections was at least somewhat familiar, but the material for this section feels like its from another universe, and I’m about one step away from rescheduling. Are there any good supplemental materials that anyone would recommend using for this section?

What is the unfamiliar material? In almost every case, I'd recommend NINJA. I just started using it last week for my 3rd (and hopefully last) REG attempt. It covers a few subjects that my Kaplan course missed or just skimmed.

    B - 80
    A - 80
    R - 71, 59, 74, 80 FINALLY!
    F - 77

Used Kaplan for FAR, BEC, AUD, and the first 2 REG attempts. I started using NINJA about 2 weeks before my 3rd REG attempt. I believe it's why I was so close to passing and why I passed the 4th time. USE IT FROM THE BEGINNING.

The business law section is what's really confusing me, particularly all of the UCC articles. I don't think tax will be as bad since it was one of my better subjects in school. Are you using the entire package or just the MCQ's?

Definitely get NINJA. I also have Wiley and just wasn't getting the business law stuff with that book. I bought the NINJA book and it is SO much better. I feel like I have a much better understanding of the material. I ended up just getting the 10 point combo for everything (the only section I have taken so far is AUD – twice – and I have a feeling I will be going for round three there so figure it was a better route).

    AUD - 85
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 82

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16

    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

Thanks for the suggestion. Looked through the NINJA sample chapter for REG and the material seems very straightforward.

No problem. This has been a lifesaver for me. There are a couple of topics that I have had to go back to Wiley to try and understand (negotiable instruments are killing me) but otherwise I've pretty much just been using Ninja.

@tom I just got the NINJA MCQ's, and they've definitely helped a lot. Also, you can just drill B-Law, if it's what you struggle with, which is an awesome feature. Plus right now, you get BLITZ with MCQ's. I haven't started those yet, but I know I will use them this weekend.
