REG Tomorrow…

    Hey Everyone!

I’m preparing to tackle the beast that is REG tomorrow at 3:30. To give a bit about myself I’ve passed all the other sections (so this could potentially be my last time suffering for 4 hours). I have 3 windows (including this one) to pass REG before losing two sections. Not bad you say? Well anyone who works in public accounting knows that study time is a rare jewel that is hard to come by. (In fact I’ve be on a 12/31 audit all summer, and that was after two 12/31 audits in winter/spring!). Either way, during my review I’ve noticed that I am fairly comfortable with tax (surprising). After re-doing all of the Becker MPs for the tax sections, I’m averaging in the high 70- low 80 %. R5 (ethics/prof responsibilities) also is a firm area for me. However, I can’t get B-Law for the life of me. There’s too many rules to memorize on top of the tax rules!

Does anyone have any advice for B-Law? Like what areas to hone in on while I review? Any help is appreciated!

Honestly, BUL was one of my weak topics when I took it last time. My plan for my retake is just to do as many multiple choice questions as I can on BUL. If that doesn't work, maybe you can try flash cards? Whatever helps you memorize the information quicker. If you have the NINJA notes, take some time to rewrite that portion of the notes if you think you'll have time and will help you.

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂
