    Hey,

Does anyone have a quick way to remember separately stated and nonseparately stated items? For some reason I’m having trouble deciphering how to remember this.

    Thanks!

Used Becker online. Who needs a text when you can burn your eyes out staring at the screen for months on end?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you're hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

What are you referring to exactly?

As far as partnerships go, Roger put it best when he said that anything that has an individual threshold or limit is a separately stated item. The logic is, since it's a flow-through entity, partners can only deduct those items for as much as their personal limits will allow. So they must be separately stated because the amount of deduction could vary from one partner to the next depending on how much they are deducting in other areas of their personal return. At least, that's how it makes the most sense to me.

    MBA,CMA,CPA, CFF?, ABV?
