Ok guys. This is my last exam and I can’t get over the hump. I have failed it 5 times now. If I pass this thing tomorrow, I am finally done and can move on with my life. For all that have passed REG in 2011…what pointers can you give me? I will take all the help I can get. Thanks

@katy – I think tax SIMs is a pretty safe bet. I doubt there is going to be a bus law SIM. So tough to prepare for these things! I feel like its a total crap shoot

@CPAhopeful – Not sure if we're the same type of Aggie, but GO AGGIES anyway. Good luck tomorrow. Are scores coming on the 7th for us? I thought ours came out later in the month like 21st or 22nd?

@Zizoty – I used an Ethics CD that my company bought for me. I'm not completely sure what it is, but I know it was available in both hard copy and CD, and you really want to buy the CD because it makes it much easier to search for the answers. The Ethics exam is easy to prepare for (and complete), I wouldn't worry about that once you get the proper materials. Are you in Illinois?

Use the research tabs on the sims. I had no clue on a couple of my sims, but I used the research tabs to find the answers and scored “stronger” on my sims.

Where do you find out about the ethics exam? I thought the state board must send you something about it after you passed all 4 exams. Now, I see there are several that took the ethics exam before they completed the 4 parts. I am kind of on my own here so any info would be great!

It's crazy, NYS has no ethics exam. Seems like the state that should have it most.
