Does anyone have any experience with Carr Riggs and Ingram or Dixon Hughes? Specifically, the benefits package for each (i.e. health insurance, etc.)? I’m considering a jump from Big 4 and I cannot find anything specific on either website about their benefit packages. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I don't know about benefits, but I'm not a fan of Dixon Hughes. Some for various reasons that I don't want to put on the Internet. But, Prepare to be in a bullpit unless you are a principal. I've heard nothing but rave reviews of CRI, but have no specific knowledge of them either.

I don't think I've ever seen any company have specifics of benefits on their websites. Typically they will say “We offer health insurance, retirement plans, etc..” Also, I don't know your situation, but I would strongly consider not jumping to a lesser known, smaller firm strictly for better benefits. Your pay will probably take a cut, which will outweigh the better benefits. Not to mention future companies wondering why you left a Big4 for another, smaller public accounting firm.

Save your jump for a private job.
