It looks like your passed the CPA exam, do you have an active license? If so, then you are exempt from the exam. Is your boss a CPA that reviews all your work, and does not require you to sign a tax return? If so, you are exempt from this exam.

    REG- 81
    BEC- 72,76
    AUD- 67,88
    FAR- 78

    Done!

Are you talking about the IRS exam? I believe you are exempt to this if you are licensed or working under a licensed CPA. I work under a CPA, have my provisional PTIN and am taking the CPA exams. Just want to make sure you have to take this exam, I see no reason otherwise if you are licensed.

The exam should be comparable to the REG exam but probably more detailed. This is just my guess. Good luck!

    FAR Passed
    REG Passed
    AUD Passed
    BEC Passed

All aboard, this train's leaving. Next stop, TBD!

I'm certain this exam will feel very dumbed down in comparison to REG. As an alternative, you may want to consider going after the EA exam.

So, I took the rtrp exam yesterday, it went pretty well, i passed 🙂

Overall the exam was not very difficult for me, since i passed Reg and have 2 seasons of tax preparation experiences, I also bought a review course, which cost me 50 bucks, only 121 questions, but it helped me a lot, actually it has a few questions directly from the review questions.

Anybody have any questions can ask me.

Congratulations! Lucky you getting to find out the result immediately. If only the CPA were like that!

Fyi Wiley is launching the same Test Bank platform used for CPA for RTRP prep on 10/1/12. It will be RTRPTestBank.com and the site is PasstheTaxExam.com (30 free MCQ on that url right now). Here are some links we've collected that might be of value to anyone studying for the RTRP:
