Is it proper to say that Access Controls (Physical Access, Electronic/Logical Access) IS or CAN BE an Application Controls because it deals with the same criteria for a Control Objective: Authorization?
If so, can the following be the correct way of interpreting it?
“Access Control is an application-specific type of control, so it is an Application Control.”
