Reporting Control Deficiencies

    I realize this is the knitty gritty but….

    Are control deficiencies reported orally, in writing, or either? Becker Pg 5-25 contradicts the chart on Pg 5-26.

    I believe it depends on if you are reporting on internal controls or on FS. Look at the summary charts in those chapters, I remember they had two different charts, one for each scenario.

    FAR 5/1 - 83
    REG 7/7 - 79
    AUD 11/20 - 85
    BEC 8/27 - ALMOST THERE!!

    3 for 3! Study high, get high grades!!

    From practice I would guess it depends on it being a deficiency (D), significant deficiency (SD) or a material weakness (MW).
