Yes, about 6.66% of the test.

    FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!
    REG-12/6/12 PASSED

Are you asking me? If so yes, 6 SIMS that count worth 40% of your grade so each one is 6.66% of the test and they're weighted equally.

    FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!

I was under the impression that there were 7 simulations. Is that not true?

One of the SIMs is a pretest question, which means that it isn't scored. So if they're all weighted evenly (which I'm not sure about either), then it would actually be worth about 8% of your test (for REG anyway). It seems weird to me that the research SIM could be worth as much as a SIM where you have to fill in a whole spreadsheet, but hey, who knows?

6 SIMs for REG, 7 SIMs for FAR and AUD.

My opinion is the research question is weighted less than the other more rigorous SIMs.

On the topic of the research SIM… anyone have any thoughts on whether partial points are available on the research SIM? As in, you're only slightly off on the subsection but the rest of your source is correct.

Does anyone know how many points is research question worth? Knowing this would help me decide how I want to allocate time for SIMS in the exam. Thanks.

Regardless of how much the research question is worth, you've got to nail it. It's one of the easier questions, in my opinion, so just buckle down and search until you've found the answer.

If the research question is worth 6.66%, do they give partial credit?

GIven the difficulty of the other 6 sims I had, I hope the research sim question was worth about 35% of the 40% of my grade.

Has there been any official guidance on SIM weightings? I don't remember seeing any. Are SIMs weighted differently for each one? Do they weigh a SIM with a 10 line JE the same as a research question or short JE? Either way, you have to nail your SIMs.

AUD was the only test where I had any problems with my SIMs (actually just one) and I barely passed. The research question should be your easiest SIM unless you draw a really difficult one somehow. Once you understand the logic of the research and can pick up the key word to search, research SIMs should take you 5 minutes at the most.

    Bec 4/11/11 91
    Aud 7/11/11 75
    Reg 8/31/11 80
    Far 5/24/11 86

Is it true that the research simulation is worth 6.66 points from the possible 40 we can get on simulations? I have also heard that is only 2 points. Who is telling the truth here? Anyone knows?

No one knows the answer to that question, but if I had to guess it's not 6.66%. A SIM with about 4 to 5 journal entries in it is worth more points than a research question. I don't believe they're all equal.
