can we take exam in March ? isn't March block out month? i schedule my Far exam on 2/26 if i want to reshedule my exam can i do it right awayor do i have to wait 5 business days then i can reshedule the exam... where can i find the reshedule exam information? thanks!

conniepeng - the test window was extended to March 8 to accomodate everyone impacted by the snow storms on the east coast. However, it has been posted that they had to open it up nationwide. This period will be considered part of Jan/Feb test window and part of wave 2 release. Good Luck on your exam.
As far as reschedule you can do that anytime and online at prometric website but it will cost based on how close you are to your test date for you probably anywhere from $75+ depends on your state since you are within 5 days. In most cases you cannot reschedule within 24 hours of your exam. You either take the exam or forfeit your money.

offlineMemberconniepeng - I was scheduled to take FAR on 2/26 as well, but then heard about the couple days in march being opened and pushed back my exam a few days. I live in VA, and did it last week, so it only cost me $35. Since you are in the five days or less period, you probably will get charged more. Wouldn't hurt to try and reschedule it and see what happens if you need the few extra days. I vaguely remember something about charging you the whole exam fee if you reschedule within a certain time period, so be careful. Nothing a quick call wouldn't solve.

offlineMemberMy understanding is that if you can schedule it then it is valid. The best way though is to call the center and ask them directly. I don't believe you need to bring anything extra from the normal procedure.

offlineMemberi am in california i called the local prometric center. they told me they don't offer the cpa exam in march, even if i reschedule i won't be able to take the exam. that's weird....i am afraid if i reschedule and i won't be able to take the exam

offlineMemberI would say the person you spoke to wasn't updated on the situation. This testing window was extended 8 days nationwide. Go to Prometric's website, select your test center location and see if there are any available openings in March. If there are openings, it will let you reschedule, and there really shouldn't be an issue. You could always call again to see if you can speak to someone else about it.
