Many people find the research question to be simple because they find the answer easy to locate. This is great, however…

I have to admit, my reading comprehension sucks (don’t judge). I’ve sat for the test once so far and I recall starring at my screen freaking out because I couldn’t figure out what in the world they were even asking me to look for… or I felt like the answer could be in two places but neither locations were obvious as the right answer. I know when I find what I think is the answer, it will be pretty much word for word what I am looking for, but I don’t comprehend what I’m looking for. I recall in one of the research questions, it felt like it was trick.. I was like are you looking for THIS or THAT?!

I guess I’m just hoping I’m not the only person who can’t figure out what they’re asking.

I know the research questions are worth less points, so I should definitely concentrate on my other sims, but I go figure two of my sims were research questions last time, haha.

    BEC - 80
    AUD - 64, 75 - credit lost, 90!!
    REG - 73, 74, 83
    FAR - 61, 72, 85

Feels good finishing on my best note. Time to watch the mailbox.

I practiced the “Research” questions in the FAR section of the WTB and got 3 out of 10 wrong because it could have been one of two things and I chose wrong. Sometimes they are dead giveaways and sometimes they are tricky. Unfortunately it is a luck of the draw on exam day. I usually search for the main words and see what I can find after I narrow down which section it should be in the AL. Sometimes even picking the topic is difficult for me, but I would suggest you practice them in your test bank and also practice using the AL for nonresearch SIMS. You can find a lot of those word for word as well. Leave yourself a lot of time for the SIMS and just search as many different things as you can. Hopefully you'll get the nontricky ones on your exam. I wish I had better advice than to say I know what you mean!
