In November I took BEC and missed it by 5 points. When I got my notification from the state detailing the areas I was stronger and weaker in, it seemed to me that the biggest reason I didnt pass is because I didnt do well on the written communication.

Does anyone have any pointers to help me score better on the written questions?

AUD - 07/05/14 - 90 - one down 3 to go
REG - 08/25/14 - 87 - half way!
FAR - 10/20/14 - 86 - Almost Done!!
BEC - 11/22/14 - 70, 85!!! Done!Mission complete!

Although I failed BEC with a 73, I scored stronger on written communication. My format was to have a 1-2 sentence introduction followed by 2-3 paragraphs that were 4-5 sentences long followed by a 1-2 sentence conclusion. It is important to remember that it is not WHAT you write, but HOW you write it. Make sure that you are using correct grammar and spelling things correctly. It is also super important that you are restating information that was given in the prompt and use associated key words. Hope that helps 🙂
