I apologize if there is a forum on this already.

Yesterday I received my score on AUD with a 71. Not sure how I went down from a 74 even though both experiences felt the same. First testlate was simple in which i flagged only a couple of questions and then the next two were difficult in which i flagged around 9-12 first time thru. I’ve been using becker since I started studying back in 2013 and after taking audit 3 times i’ve overworked the questions. I feel that i’m getting tripped up on difficult questions. Only have 2 more attempts at audit and just want to finish this thing off. If someone could please give guidence on a review course that provides harder questions overall as opposed to becker that’d be awesome.

    FAR: 80 10/13

    REG: 73 (3/14) 77 (5/14)

    AUD: 69 (5/14) 74 (8/14) 71 (11/14)

@mlevine63091 buy ninja mcq and ninja audio. it helped me pass on my first try with 79 in aud. jeff programmed ninja mcq per examination module. I think you need to see a different angle. best of luck to you.

@mlevine63091 – I agree with ‘Future Ninja'. I too am having the same problem as you. I feel that Becker is geting redundent and I'm getting used to the questions. I recently purchased the Ninja MCQ's and they are awesome and extremely tough (compared to Becker, I thought). I think if you switch to Ninja MCQ's, and supplement with Becker and other Ninja products, it will put you over that 75 hump.

    Good luck.

I'll feel like a broken record here, but this is not a plug for NINJA MCQs, just a real-life experience. I went through 10 tests with Becker. I needed to pass FAR Q3/Q4 window or Q1 2015 otherwise my BEC expired. I took FAR 3 times just with Becker; 74, 72, 72…I then added NINJA MCQs (for a measly $30ish bucks)- no brainer for over 1,000 MCQs and various SIMS (even though I did 0 SIMs)!

My last FAR score I was just praying for a 75…I received an 86.

Last time through I re-read the book, did not watch the videos (as I felt it was inefficient & ineffective since I didn't pay attention to the videos), reworked all Becker homework (no SIMs, although I did look through a bit to get a better feel for formats and such), and went through NINJA MCQs. I was trending 72%, averaged 75%, actual score 86. Supplementing Becker with NINJA, in my opinion, definitely helped and I think my score reflects accordingly. With all that in mind, I also commited to a structured study schedule (roughly 1 hour before work, 45 min at lunch, 1 hour after work, 1 hour at home – I studied at work before/after hours to eliminate distractions at home. Weekends were hit and miss for availability but I made sure I was in the material regardless if it were 1 hour or 6 hours. I made sure to reward myself, study in moderation, and keep the end result in mind).

Hopefully the insight helps. Like I said, 11 tests later, I'm done. I could care less about the money it cost and the time committed, all that matters is that I am now done. You WILL get there! Keep up the hard work! Have a blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Ninja MCQ and CPAExcel helped me pull an 86 on AUD.

If you've passed FAR, you can crush AUD

    Hang in there.

@EverybodyswaitingfortheCPA, I completely agree on not watching the lectures. For CPAExcel, the lectures are basically read directly from the book. Sometimes I feel like the lectures are just included in order to justify the price for these review courses.
