I figured when I passed my 4th exam I’d do something lavish for myself, like a cruise (alone!) or a new wardrobe.

Instead I settled for an Iphone 4 (NOT the 4S, I am far too frugal to pay $300 for a telephone LOL).

What did or will everybody else do for themselves? I see disney vacations planned, and trips to Europe. Maybe I should hook myself up with a massage too.

mla1169 – you should definitely do a massage or something like that to rejuvenate your body & mind… Hopefully I will be finish with testing by Spring or Summer 2012 and I would love to go on Vacation at that time to just relax and clear my mind. I may take one of my CPA Books and while I am there do a burning of that book and throw it in the Ocean. LOL

I'm taking a vacation! I haven't had a real vacation in 2.5 years so after I pass these tests (hopefully early 2012) I'll be going somewhere great.

I've got a Living Social coupon that I purchased last May just as I was starting this journey for a 75-minute couples massage at a nearby spa. I plan on setting an appointment for myself and my boyfriend to unwind after I pass REG. We both deserve it at this point, thankfully he's a very patient and supportive man!

Massage is definitely high on top of the list…A couple of friends and I are planning on possibly heading down to Florida… really looking forward to that if it materializes.

One of the best things though is NOT HAVING TO STUDY FOR THIS ANYMORE!!!

Well I had a dream last night that vampires were trying to eat me. I hope that wasn't a sign. 😉

I would love a nice vacation but I'm still a student so frugality is key. I'm thinking a massage. My college offers them cheap 😀

@kandis, we actually are planning Disneyland when I'm done. My NTS expires 2/3, so I was really hoping to not have to reapply, but I'm having computer issues so I don't know if I'll be able to get all my sections done by then. We'll see. They have the best cookie I've ever tasted in the gift shops there. I'm saving up now so I can come back with a suitcase of them. Are you in the LA area?

@katie – March and April are great times to go to Disneyland. Just make sure you check out the Spring Break schedules of the schools in So Cal and avoid that week at all costs.

My husband is a firearms instructor at a police academy. That being said, I plan to destroy my becker materials at the firing range! That's a reward! ha!

@katie – Nope, I am in Redding, which is about 2.5 hours North of Sacramento. It's quite a drive to LA but at least we have a free place to stay with family. I'll check out flights to see if we can find something super cheap, but I don't mind driving if I have to. My fiance is good company. 🙂

I started reading this and just had to respond. I received my final passing score about two weeks before a family trip to Disneyland, what a great trip it was knowing that I was finally done with the CPA exam. The plan for Thanksgiving this year is to take my Brother-in-law's gun collection along with 5 years worth of CPA review material. We will take these to an undisclosed rural location where we will not be bothered by anyone from the law enforcement community and we will have a great time destroying ALL of my CPA exam material. My wife and I also purchased road bikes as a CPA passing/birthday/anniversary/christmas present to each other. She had to put up with a ton of stuff while I was studying.
