i watch some of the demo's and they look pretty good... he is super hyperactive and speaks very quickly so it kind of makes you really pay attention.

Almost there....

Hey Hopefull,
I am suplementing Wiley with Roger for FAR...he's very energetic and focuses only on the necesary points to pass the exam....I used Wiley only for three parts and did ok, but Wiley goes too deep with FAR so I decided to get guidance from Rogers and if there is something I need to learn and Roger did not touch, then I go to the wiley pages in order to close the learning cycle. Anyway, I think any review course is worthless unless you put the time on it....Good luck...

I also saw some of Roger's demos and I was impressed. Roger's style of instruction is very upbeat and seems to keep you engaged in what he is teaching you.
I'm just starting out on this journey and I'm going to start with Becker online since my employer pays for Becker and its a part of my grad school curriculum but I may use Roger and Club 75 as supplemental study materials if I'm not impressed with Becker materials. I haven't received them yet so I'm waiting to see how they are.

When you ask question that you do not understrand, you have tyo post on Roger's message board. However, this is a monitor. If your question is approved, it will be posted.
Roger sends you the Wiley book, but does not go over any multiple choice questions in the Wiley book. Roger's lecture book does not cover many of the questions in the Wiley Book. After watching the lecture and reading the chapters, I found that doing the questions for some of the Modules (subjects), I would miss 40% of the questions. I was getting the questions wrong because Roger does not cover the topics needed to answer it correctly. I have absolutely no clue what the answer would be for many of the questions because Roger never went over the concept in his lecture or book. I feel that watching his lecture and reading his book was a waste of time. Maybe I should have just gotten the Wiley Books and software to save myself the time and money.
I am watching parts of lectures that correspond to the different modules in the Wiley book so that my studying time is more consistent. It is a pain to do because, as I mentioned above, some modules will span to 3 different lectures. This means I have to fast forward, rewind the lecture until I get the right subject. Having only 3 allowed views of each lecture doesn't help either.
Bottom Line: Roger is not organized and his company policies are inflexible. Roger is more about self-promotion than making it easy for the CPA candidate to use his review course. I would not buy Roger again.
