San Francisco/Bay Area prometrics

    Hi! Is anyone else experiencing that all dates in April are blocked (taken). I have been trying since last week to schedule an exam in April but I don’t see even one date that is available in April and just 3 or 4 available in May. I check about 5, 6 times a day. Any suggestions as to why and what I should do? Thanks a lot!

    San Bruno is the only prometric testing center I've been too and they usually do open up. I'm waiting for a REG opening further out in May than my current exam date. Good luck!

    I go to San Jose, Alameda & San Bruno. They typically do open up.

    Claudia- someone was asking about the application process in CA… What happened with yours?

    later in the afternoon the day i called i finally got my notice to select which sections i wanted to take. total time took just over 3 weeks from sending my check to scheduling. so i didn't get my first choice for my REG retake in May, it will be too soon after I take FAR so I'm going to have to keep checking for openings.I guess I could select a different Prometric, but I like the San Bruno location bc it's easy parking and only 15 minutes from my home.

    Yes, but I have to reschedule it, maybe sometimes beg of May. Any Advice? I hate concept/ definition type questions.

    Roger is great with Audit so you don't have problems there. However, Audit wording is very tricky and depending on the question and choices they give you, the answer can change so it does take some time to “get it”. Just read the question CAREFULLY, #1 advice! I also think AUD has the least amount of material to study.

    I just put my retake application in the mail. We'll see how long it takes to get approved … I am pretty confident dates will open up, a lot of people schedule then end up pushing it back to the end of the window. I was going to mention that San Bruno has the cleanest facility out of the 3 I have been to.

    MaLoTu- that's funny you said the San Bruno Prometric is the cleanest bc I've been there 7x now and you know how after each exam you take a survey? I always type in the comment field the keyboards and mouse need LYSOL!! LOL. No notice of Lysol clean up yet though….
