Well the testlets went pretty well. Only a few questions that I’d say I had never seen. The sims on the other hand…ugh! Several FAR type Sims, one research, one DRS…do not feel I passed. I am moving on to BEC. Can’t retake until October anyway! (Previous AUD scores this year…66, 74) Ninja average 81/Trending 91 this time!

I just sat for Audit today testlet 1 easy/medium, testlet 2 hard (only a couple of easy questions) testlet 3 medium/hard

Simulations on the other hand….. I was so happy to know that I at least got the research question correct. Outside of the research question I am pretty sure I bombed the other 5 sims (since 1 sim is pretest)
we do not find out until August 4 so the suspense really sucks.

Very hard to answer one sim I had where it does not indicate if member/spouse is aware of the audit client (for determination of direct/indirect financial interest) so should we assume if a question says the spouse has client stock that it is direct interest if the question does not say so? regardless of materiality direct financial interest impairs independence but its hard to know if the interest is indirect/direct if the question just says client/spouse have ____ % in the client.

The sims I just got were pretty easy, I would hope that I got at least an 80% if not higher on them. I wasn't prepared enough for Pension though.. Very briefly covered in Becker

Since you mentioned pensions… I had I think two MCQ's total in Yaeger that dealt with pensions, yet I had at least 5 MCQ's on my audit test dealing with pensions. How the hell does that happen? I can say for sure that AUD and BEC like to hit you with material you have never seen, and they all can't be pretest questions. That's what I call major BS

    AUD - 79

Hey, I squeaked by with a 76! I was surprised I passed. It felt like I scored a 99! Ha! The MQ's were fine but the sims were not your basic journal entries. Now I am on to BEC…ugh! And I am not enjoying it one bit!
