    Hi all,

Just recently registered on this site (thought it’s been a very helpful source over the past 7 months as I’ve been taking this exam!). Finished 3 parts so far, with only FAR left to go. Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone and see if its as crazy as I think it is saving FAR for last? Knew REG would give me the most trouble so I took it first (and I was right) and then timing for other ones just worked out, and now I have only the big one left.

    Should be fun! 🙂

    BEC - 90
    AUD - 93
    REG - 78
    FAR -

Well looking at your scores, it seems like you're well-on your way to a CPA. FAR has the most material overall. I went by your philosphy too and decided to take FAR first because I believed it will be the hardest and it happened to be the first lecture covered by Becker. I got an 81 and was very lucky. I left the testing center not feeling too good.

Since you're so close, you should really zero in on this exam. Take a little more time to study if you need. I actually spent About 2.5 months on this one. But also don't kill yourself over it. If you dont pass on the first try, its alright. Its not like you got other tests to retake. So just relax and cross that finish line. Good luck!

    FAR-81!!
    AUD-69, Retake: 84!!
    REG-86!!
    BEC-81!!
    Education- Done
    Ethics- August 2013
Experience- 7 Months of CPA Experience and counting!

I did pretty much the exact same thing knowing that regulation was going to be my tough one and that I would get through audit and BEC with relative ease. So are you crazy for saving FAR for last? Of course not! It's the big one and the only one you have to be concerned with now, and you will have plenty of time to take it again without losing previously earned credit. I don't know about you, but I am starting to feel the burn out from all of the studying along with working full time and everything else. The thought of potentially being finished by May keeps me going. So hang in there and it should all be over with soon…your scores so far are pointing in the right direction.

    Best of luck to you!
