I just took auditing on July 12th and I will not see my results until early August. I don’t think my exam went well and I am already planning on re-taking it.

Should I set auditing aside and move on to my next section which is Reg? I would plan to start studying for Reg late August and take the exam in late October. Then simply review Audit again all of November and take it at the end of November?

What do you think would be best?

What I would do is go ahead and move on; study for Regulation and schedule it for the end of August (3rd testing window). That way, you're not going back to study on a section that you MAY have already passed. You have to study for Reg regardless and what you can do is take Reg, then go back to AUD in the event you failed and study for that in September, and take that in the beginning of the next window (October).

I wouldn't be able to start studying for Reg until the last week of August because I will be on vacation in Europe from the 7th to the 20th. Depending if I passed or not I would possible start next week just to get a week ahead.

I would start Reg right when I come back late August and try to take is late October. Then study all of November again for Auditing and take it before the window closes.

It seems like more people come back disappointed with a failing score after thinking they did ok than the other way around. There are so many posts with people certain that they failed who actually end up passing. Don't spend time thinking about AUD until you hear that you didn't pass. At least that way there's absolutely no risk of completely wasting that time. Also, studying for another section will get your mind off AUD while you're waiting for that score.
