Score Protest

I know I’ve always read that a score protest is a waste of money, but I’m really considering doing it. Almost like a tilt moment for you poker players out there. I felt so good about Audit this go around but got another 74, that makes my last 3 scores 74,73,74. I feel like at this point they are just playing with my head.

I would much rather get a 50. That way it’s at least like, hey you don’t know this stuff. A 74 is a score where you still need to study like you don’t know the stuff, but it is hard. When you start to study it is like, hey, I do know this stuff. Pretty bummed out.

🙁 I think a score appeal is the only way they might change your score. It seems like a lot of work though.

an appeal has virtually never resulted in a change but if you feel comfortable parting with your time and money, go for it. Many people have been in your exact situation, brush it off and study again (which I guarantee you will have to do, unfortunately).

Thanks, MLA. I know that is the right answer, but just frustrated and wanted to vent. Exactly why I called it “tilt”. I'll get back on the wagon and pass it next time.

I got 74 twice on audit as well. As well as 63 and 71. Finally passed…. I feel your pain XD I'm also very numb to it at this point!

    BEC - PASS (79)
    AUD - PASS (63, 71, 74, 74, 83)
    REG - PASS (88)
    FAR - PASS (58, 89)

Did you miss the part where you have absolutely zero chance of getting a score bump? Get back on the horse and wrap it up. AUD is one of the easiest ones.

    FAR- 82
    REG- 93
    AUD- 89
    BEC- 88

I wouldn't call audit one of the easiest ones since it has the lowest pass rate. That alone says that for a majority of the exam takers it is pretty difficult.

CPA Chance. Let me help you out. I was in the same boat. DO ninja MCQ . Answer all the questions. Print out questions you got wrong . Review them 2-3 times until you understand the concept. Review them once before the exams. I am sure you will succeed this time. Good Luck.
