If I take REG on 1/20, will the AICPA receive it in time to for me to receive my score in the 2/4 score release? Or should I take it sooner to make certain they have received it?

In most Cases you should be fine. I have take the exam at the last day of the release window and have always managed to get my results with those that did their exam in that window.

Like Insi said, usually, you're fine; however, there is the chance that they won't receive the information in time. If it is highly important that you get the score by that date, I would suggest taking it sooner since there is a chance that you would miss the wave. I've taken them on the last day without any issues before, but I have seen others take it in the last day of the wave and not get their score till the following wave.
