    NINJA Question –

I have managed to do many NINJA MCQ this weekend. I am using this as a supplement to Becker. Since I have hit the Adaptive phase my scores have been worse. Is this normal? Should my scores be improving here? I felt good a few days ago and now not so much.

Is there a way I can maximize the benefit of NINJA ? I am testing Saturday and looking for any last minute suggestions for using NINJA. I have not done any SIMS. should I switch it up or continue with MCQ and try to make it to the review stage?

I have currently answered 55% of the questions correctly

    Thank you

Your scores are going down because you hit the adaptive phase. NINJA MCQ is now testing your weaker areas. Naturally your score will decline in the short term

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - 86
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - NINJA in Training
    AUD - 71, 73

    BEC - 74, 86

    REG - 77*

    FAR - 57

    *expired

(I have been trying to become a CPA since 2013). only one test down.......

    FAR: 63, 55, 62
    REG: 65, 77*
    AUD: Fail, 64, 71
    BEC: 72, 74, 81

What are you trending? I'd say there's some value in practicing some SIMS here and there to switch things up and see how well you can apply the concepts. How much you plug away at MCQ depends a bit on trending tho. If you're trending below a 70, I'd really keep plugging away at the MCQ more than the SIMS.

I wouldn't say it's a requirement to hit the review stage though, you'll get more benefit out of understanding why you're getting the questions wrong than just getting them all right at least once.

    BEC - 02/21/15 - 82
    FAR - 05/29/15 - 82
    AUD - 07/09/15 - 93
    REG - 11/14/15 - 80

    All done!!!

Currently avg 77 with a trending 74. These were both in the low 80s a few days ago.

Cause for concern is that I'm testing Saturday and work full time. I just don't see myself getting into that suggested 85% range. I'll try my hardest though.

Thanks for everyone's responses. I appreciate it

dude – you are in a much better spot. I take AUD on Saturday and I am trending 57 percent….. going to go take some frustration out on a golf simulator for an hour.

74 percent is good – especially when you have a week. Plus from what I have read on the forums for the last few months is that NINJA MCQ has harder questions then Becker. I would die to be in your position because you are going to fricking crush the test on Saturday 🙂

As I close in on completing all questions correctly (currently 95%) I've developed a huge gap between my average score and my trending score. My avg. has decreased to 75% while my trending is at 96%. I don't know why this is happening. My scores have been all over the place, but have definitely been on the low side as I'm trying to complete seemingly impossible questions that I've missed, in some cases 2 or 3 times now. I'm really trying to complete the analytical phase.

Is there a reason for a more than 20% gap I. My avg. and trending score? How do I interpret ? It seems my avg. score is the one to look at and it is not all that hot.

Remember that your avg score is a percentage of ALL questions you ever did. So in the beginning when you were getting a gazillon wrong, that is factoring into your avg score.

I am not entirely sure the exact number, but your trending is an algorithm based on the last so many questions answered.

Yea it's just weird because my trending is higher than the scores I'm getting. I'm getting like 50-70 percent on each run through and my trending is way higher. I don't get it.

Thanks for the response golfball. I appreciate your posts and help as I freak out. One more day, but I'm not gonna worry about these scores to much. I'm really focusing on why the answer is right and why I keep getting the, wrong. Some of these ninja questions are brutal.

Times up. Test tomorrow. I managed to get through all the questions and answered them correctly once. I'm currently at 76 avg and 100% trending. Throughout thr process I did mostly 100 pt sets. Maxed out around 83% avg at one point. Avg started going down the last coup,e hundred questions. Some of them were very hard for me taking 3-4 times seen before I could crack em

I hope my low avg is good enough. If not I'll see you in Q3
