The best insult that NASBA has available up its sleeve, thats right a 74. Now I am just wondering, for the folks that do get a 74, did they actually score a 74? Or did NASBA bump them down to a 74?

    AUD - PASS

    FAR - PASS

    REG - PASS

    BEC - PASS

BEC: 5/21/14 82! PASSED HALF WAY THERE!
    FAR: 4/2/15 80! Almost there!
    AUD: 69, 74, 4/3/14 81! PASSED
    REG: TBD

I've never understood these conspiracy theories. There isn't a team of people individually analyzing people's scores. The best and most probable explanation I have heard for how they score the exam is they take your raw score, multiply it by the relative weight of the questions answered correctly, and place them on a standard curve.

    MD Candidate: 10/1/14

    FAR - 87 (11/23/14)
    REG - 87 (1/30/15)
    BEC - 89 (4/19/15)
    AUD - 98 (5/30/15)

The AICPA is the one that “grades” your exam. NASBA is only responsible for administering the exam.

    REG 77 Feb14
    BEC 13*, 79 Aug14
    FAR 64**, 76 Nov14
    AUD 89 Feb15

All those who pass, pass and all those who fail, fail.

With that said, the margins are decided by the evil people who individually analyze scores along with your social media presence and any other aspects of your life they can judge. If they don't like you (for whatever reason), your 68 becomes a 74. Oh you passed and they don't like you? You needed a 97 to get the EWS huh? Well your 82 (clearly missing the EWS) becomes a 96 (Oh, just missed it!).

    Hope this clarifies things.
