    perhaps I’m reading the headlines incorrectly but there seems to be a revival. who said opportunities only come and knock once in a lifetime? arthur andersen 2.0!

    Yep they're back. Actually they've been around but just providing tax services. They just changed their name a month ago. Talk about second chances!

    Arthur Andersen was a big firm with many offices. Not every office (or even every department within the problematic offices) worked irresponsibly.

    Reclaiming the name is not something, I personally, would choose to do, but I never worked for Andersen. These are people who clearly took a lot of pride in their firm and watched it get destroyed by a few bad apples. I can understand why they might want to try to build a new reputation for Andersen.
