Selling (PP&)Equipment for above Book – Depreciation for Cash

    Is the Cash “always” classified as Cash from Investment?

    .

    What if Book = 15, Dep = 10 and I sell for 7. Cash from Investment is 7 or 5 (2 for Operating Cash “profit”)?

    .

    Can someone explain the nuance here?
