Should I reschedule (again)??

I was planning on taking FAR (for the first time) next week on the 28th (in around 10 days). I had originally scheduled to take it this week, but I was still studying F4 out of F10 from Becker at the time and I had to reschedule. But I JUST finished F5 and I feel like there’s no way for me to go through the whole course in time. Since I am pretty sure I won’t pass, the only benefits I see in taking it next week is that the pressure will make me study more diligently and I can get a feel for what the exam is like. But I’m not sure if that’s worth the stress and money, and missing Thanksgiving dinner for. If I reschedule, it would be in mid-January right before busy season starts. What do you all think??

Are you at risk of losing any other sections?

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

Paperwork sent - waiting for license!!
Still on a cloud and in shock. Through God, all things will happen.

Is your NTS expiring? Are other sections expiring? It sounds like you've never sat before…if your NTS is expiring, I say just go and sit, get a feel for the exam if nothing else.

You should just take it. I've heard of people not doing the last 2 or 3 chapters and getting a passing score in the 70's. It takes luck but no point in not taking it unless your NTS doesn't expire.

    FAR- 92 (7/25/2014)
    AUD- 93 (8/30/2014)
    REG- 93 (10/10/2014)
    BEC- 91 (11/10/2014)

Using Becker self-study only. Working full-time.

If it's your first exam and your NTS is expiring or you have a section that is going to expire, take it!

    Otherwise…don't?

    REG- (1) 76
    FAR- (2) 64, (5)74, (7)83 (Over achiever!)
    AUD- (3) 70, (4) 75
    BEC- (6) 75

I am/was in your same shoes. I had my exam scheduled for the 25th but this weekend I just felt like I was way behind. I decided Saturday to push it off to the start of the next testing window 1/3. I feel like a huge weight was lifted. I took a day off to clear my head and re-group and now I'm back at it. I've mapped out my days between now and then leaving some light days in between for the holidays. Overall I fee like it should give me the extra time needed to take down this beast.

Probably have made up your mind already but my $0.02: when I dealt with somewhat similar circumstances I decided to reschedule. I'm now scheduled for 29th (prep is coming along reasonably well) but do wish I had taken it in the past to get the feel for it.
