    Hey,

I have a MA non-reporting license, which I know means I can’t sign off on FS audit reports. That’s cool, I get it.

However, if I were to prepare someone’s tax return, or just writing a letter in general, could I sign it as…

    “John Doe, CPA”

Sorry, I know this is a dumb question.

    Thanks for your consideration.

Yes you can. The only limitation is signing off on F/S,otherwise you can use the credential the same as any other licensee.
